DAYCARE

Explore our Pet Daycare Services

Our daycare program is a great way to maintain your pet’s social life while offering a safe and fun alternative to spending the day home alone. Daycare is also a great tool to introduce your pet to our facility and staff before boarding.

Screening Process

Before your pet’s first time in daycare at Cohasset Kennels, they will go through a screening process. This ensures that pets play and socialize well together.

All dogs coming in for daycare will be assessed by our experienced staff for temperament and aggressions to determine if they are a good candidate for playgroup. Private play and individual walks are available for our guests who do not enjoy group play. Given that we have an open-play environment, we will have to refuse any pet that shows aggression towards people or other dogs.

The safety of our guests is very important to us and you can be sure that your dog is always supervised and never turned out with a group of dogs without a staff member present.

About Daycare

  • All of our groups are fully supervised and separated by size and temperament.

  • We offer 2 large outdoor play areas designed for safety, cleanliness and fun.

  • Non-neutered dogs will be assessed on case-by-case basis. If your non-neutered pup shows any signs of aggression or undesirable behavior we can offer private play or walk until they are neutered.

  • Each daycare dog is assigned an individual heated/air-conditioned kennel for rest periods and water breaks.

  • We assume any dog coming in for daycare has already been fed at home. If you would like us to feed a full breakfast or lunch we are happy to serve Iams dry kibble or a meal from home. Meals from home must be pre-packaged in a plastic bag labeled with your dogs name.

  • Playgroups are 45 minutes to 1 hour. During inclement weather we will be out as much as reasonable.

  • Sprinklers are provided for play in the summer months.

  • Reservations are required during holidays/school vacations.

Come and join the fun and please contact us with any questions.
