Cohasset Kennel was established in 1983 and is located on 3 acres in a quiet, country setting. We have the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, kindness, and fun! The facility is one of the few on the South Shore originally built as a kennel and with your pet’s safety in mind. It was designed with security fencing and modern disinfection equipment allowing us to clean and disinfect extremely well.

Our kennel has a poured concrete base with top quality, safe Mason enclosures.

The Cohasset Kennel has 60 indoor/outdoor runs, 2 play fields, a nature trail for one-on-one walks, and a private cattery.

There is air-conditioning and heat in all interior areas as well as an excellent air-exchange system. The exterior runs are 16 feet long and are covered from the direct elements. This allows us to give your dog maximum indoor/outdoor time. 

The outdoor play areas are rectangular measuring 40 feet by 100 feet. The area has a river washed smooth stone base which is a forgiving surface for your dog’s delicate paws.

Cohasset Kennel is a proud supporter of the Scituate, Cohasset, and Duxbury K9 teams. We also take pride in the fact that 6 area police departments entrust us with the care of their K9 officers!

We work closely with area veterinarians who are familiar with our high standards of care and are confident referring their clients to us.
